United StatesThey fit exactly as they said they would, I just had to buy one clamp that didn’t come with it , that was cool though, they fit and sounded great !
United StatesFitment is excellent, parts fit very well and didn’t need to add clearance any where. Sounds nice and mellow, no drone even towing a 4K bass boat. Only issue is the 45ftlb torque. This even remotely enough to tighten the clamps. The design of the clamps requires the bolt to deform and pull in the band. 45ftlb didn’t do anything. I used a 1/2in impact and eliminated the two exhaust leaks I had.
United StatesPurchasing my new exhaust system directly from the manufacturer was a no nonsense experience from start to finish. And the MBRP equipment is everything I was looking for to install on my truck. A minor increase in gas mileage was noticed, especially after coupling with a new cold air intake system. I gained approximately five miles per gallon. My Tundra, which has a 5.7L engine under the hood has plenty of horse power, but do feel is a bit more peppy. No technical analysis was performed, but I know my truck and there is a noticeable difference. And I can't lie, I do love the new throaty deep tone at acceleration. And when you reach cruising speed it just purrs, it's not obnoxious loud. Now if the stainless steel longevity test passes, it will complete my satisfaction.
United StatesInstallation was very easy to do alone. The hardest part is removing older exhaust. For me it was hard since it was still original exhaust (13 years old!). Once original exhaust was removed, installation took less than an hour. I noticed there was some leakage at first but once I ran a couple of heat cycles and double checked each clamp, all the leaks were gone. It is taking a little getting use to having some drone when on the throttle. Cant help but smile. :-D I did customize my exhaust before installing by painting the two mufflers to match TRD equipment already on my truck using high temp paints. I am a very happy customer!
United StatesEverything was there, it fit, went right together like I had hoped it would. Finish on everything was A+, the tips are extra nice as well. Great product...oh it sounds unbelievably good, deep roar, just like I wanted. Thanks again for such a nice product. Now I just need to get one for my KRX 1000!!!
