Very easy to install, sounds great! I'm impressed!
Easy install for an amateur.
This system uses high quality pipe and muffler. The bends are spot on. It sounds great! Now about those tricky hangers with the fancy slots! Ditch the damn things before someone gets seriously hurt from one disengaging and a pipe end hitting someone in the mouth while attempting to install. I'm sure these look good on a CAD Program, but in reality from an installers standpoint, they are mechanical gobbledygook. I'm 60 years old and rebuilt my first engine at 16 so I've been at this a while. Seriously wrestling with these hangers more than doubles the install time on this system. You can do better!
I decided to cut all the factory exhaust off of my ‘03 F250 one afternoon, and start the install the next day. After lubing the factory rubber hangers, and unpacking the new exhaust system I got to work. The turbo to exhaust clamp was a little challenging, as I was working solo. After that, help from a jack stand & floor jack made assembly a breeze. This is my third truck I will be running the MBRP system on, and I have enjoyed the benefits of a little better fuel efficiency & faster turbo spool up, not to mention an awesome sound.
