Overall ? 10/10 !!! They had the exact Cat-Back setup that I was looking for (MBRP S5081409) and their website was easy to navigate. I'd say the pricing was fair, I did shop around a bit. Financing (sorry I'm not rich) was simple. Shipping was insanely fast. Ordered on the 21st, arrived at my house on the 23rd. Install was pretty straight forward, and it sounds great. Nice and "aggressive" when you want it to be, and relatively quiet when you're just trying to get home and not wanting to wake the neighbors. Overall quality? It's a stainless steel exhaust, and my 2018 Silverado 1500 is by no means a show truck. The exhaust tubing and muffler looked fine, as did the tips. I recently purchased a MBRP S5081409 Cat Back Exhaust from mbrpexhauststore,com . How was my overall experience? Fantastic. Seriously, from the word go. I had been wanting this particular cat back system for a long time, and I finally decided to pull the trigger. I'd say pricing was reasonable. For one reason or another, some of us (like me) might not be able to drop $700 in one lump sum on an exhaust. Financing through Affirm was simple and easy, and my exhaust was on its way. Shipping was QUICK !!!! I placed my order and 2 days later my exhaust was at my house. It arrived undamaged, with nothing missing. Installation was pretty simple, I did it in my driveway. The hardest part was getting the factory exhaust off. I ended up cutting it into 3 sections. When it came to putting the new exhaust on, I followed the included instructions and watched a couple videos. I will add a word of caution: there is a part of the installation where you have to "fish" a bolt and plate through the frame (twice) so that you can attach new exhaust hangers to them. They include a little wire that threads onto the bolt so that you can do this. TAKE YOUR TIME !!! I had the bolt come off of the wire inside the frame and had to get it out. Once everything was assembled, and tightened up, the MBRP tips were the icing on the cake. Now for the part everyone's been waiting for....... the sound. Other than this exhaust, my truck is bone stock. That first start-up sounded great, so I took it for a test drive. Nice rumble when you pull out, has a great sound to it when you mash on the gas, and sounds good when you downshift. If you're just cruising through your neighborhood and not trying to wake everybody up, its good for that too. It has a nice tone at idle and light throttle. I haven't had any complaints from the neighbors. I haven't noticed any excess cab noise or "highway drone", but my commute is relatively short. It sounds so good that my wife actually complimented it, and is now considering an exhaust for her vehicle. In closing, I'd definitely recommend this cat back, and I would STRONGLY recommend dealing with mbrpexhauststore.com .
The exhaust is exactly what I expected it to be. Decent quality. The overall fit is great. The overall finish is ok. It fits like it's supposed to. Sounds good. It's louder then I though it would be with using long tubes and catless y pipe. I like the tone. Idle is deep.
This replaced the stock exhaust on my '18 4.3l Crew Cab Silverado. Everything was packaged well and shipped quickly. Initially after the install I was not thrilled, yes they were loud but ear piercingly so in the cab at 2k RPM. After experimenting with tip placement it fixed the issue, you just gotta make sure the tips are not "seated" all the way on the pipes because that places the rear one too far back (under the cab) and the exhaust noise seemed to get trapped between the cab & door. Pulling the tip out (lol) a bit made it very tolerable in the cab and I'm happy now. Overall it sounds beefy and look fantastic. Very easy to install. Very little drone on the highway.
Installation was easy, only took about an hour. Looks great and sounds great. Very minimal drone on highway.
